Easy Loading & Labour-saving Chubbs from Victory Plastics & Anchors
The Chubbs is our expandable bentonite sleeve. It’s an easy way to measure the right amount of bentonite for each hole you’re working with. All of our sleeves are approved by the Alberta Public Lands Division. The Chubbs are great for sealing abandoned shotholes, dropload on top of charge for tamps, and stemming of Aquaphor flow. In our sleeves, the bentonite can be presoaked for faster hydration. The bags expand outward, not upward, to provide better holding power and sealing quality. Plastic sleeves help inspectors verify that the hole was plugged properly. The Chubbs are packaged in plastic-lined, polywoven bags for waterproof storage and sturdy handling (10 units per bag).

New Enviro Bentonite Chubbs
The new Bentonite Chubbs are an environmentally friendly way to seal shot holes. Unlike bulk bentonite, the Enviro Chubbs guarantee government standards are met in every hole. Now made from biodegradable, food‑grade polyethylene, they are easier to load and handle, and the mesh is designed to expand only outward, not upward.

Engineered for Compliance and Reliable Sealing
The Chubbs are designed specifically for use in pre‑drilled holes, as required by government regulations. Once placed in the hole, natural moisture and groundwater activate the bentonite, causing it to expand outward and create a complete, secure seal. This ensures each hole is properly plugged in an environmentally safe manner. The biodegradable plastic sleeve provides easy handling during installation and breaks down naturally over time, leaving behind only the bentonite seal.
Ideal For:

Foundations & below-grade construction
